The Gap

A designer imagines.
An artisan creates.
Too often, they never meet.

Many artisans possess extraordinary skills.

Many designers have ambitious visions.

Yet a gap exists between imagination and execution.

Spaces Design Studio was created to bridge that gap.

Our Story
Chapter I

The Beginning

The studio began not in an office, but in a workshop on the edge of Bhaktapur — between a carpenter sharpening chisels and a designer tearing up sketches.

Chapter II

The Gap

We watched designers send drawings abroad, while artisans in our own neighbourhoods waited for work. Both sides quietly losing.

Chapter III

The Mission

We chose to put the two in the same room. Designers learning the patience of carving. Artisans understanding the discipline of a plan.

Chapter IV

The Future

A globally recognised language of Nepalese design — not as a souvenir of place, but as a standard the world looks toward.
